|Please help us to carry the message. Volunteers are always needed to help answer the telephones at the Intergroup offices from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., five days a week, Monday through Friday.|
The Nightwatch program exists to enable volunteers to take calls at night when the offices are closed. Volunteers sign up for one night a month, Monday through Thursday, to answer the telephones at home from 5:00 p.m. until the office are opened again in the morning. Generally the telephones are brought back to the office by 7:15 a.m. or by 8:00 a.m. at the latest. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the telephones are call forwarded to a large group or groups at a club for the A.A. members to answer. Intergroup coordinates this activity so that the A.A. members can respond to the Statement of Responsibility:

I am responsible...
When anyone, anywhere,
Reaches out for help, I want
The hand of A.A. always to be there.

The 11th Step Workshop on prayer and meditation held in March was a large success. We ended up having two sessions to accommodate the overflow crowd. Now, we offer the opportunity for others to take part in this successful workshop, or for you to revisit this important topic.
